I was contacted to do an architectural photoshoot for a new hotel being built on the Roatan golf course. Although they are making rapid progress there is still ongoing construction. This presented a unique situation that required me to visually capture all the positive features of the resort, the ocean view, constructed villas, new landscaping, and finishing details. At the same time I had to avoid signs active construction such as piles of dirt, unfinished buildings, and construction workers. The site is a hive of activity with workers and machinery all over the place, so I had my work cut out for me. By choosing some key angles, and with the cooperation of the construction crew, I was able to create some great images that really show the vision of the project. I’m looking forward to revisiting the project as it nears completion.
